ANNAPOLIS, Md.- The Wildcats take a smooth 7-0 victory over Coppin State making their record 3-3.
 
Coppin State only had four players to compete in the match leading to defaults in number three doubles and number five and six singles.
 
Still in the matches that were completed Villanova made quick work of the Eagles. Notably freshman Cooper Gordon and junior Ryan Nguyen both took 6-1 and 6-0 wins in their singles matches. The team of sophomore Trey Fourticq and freshman Tighe Brunetti took a strong 6-2 win over their Coppin State opponent in doubles.
 
The Wildcats return to action tomorrow February 25 to take on Navy at 10 am and Fairleigh Dickinson at 4 pm.
