BALTIMORE, Md.- The Wildcats made their way to Baltimore to take on Loyola after their match was postponed a day due to weather. The 'Cats defeated the Greyhounds 6-1 .
 
The match began with Villanova sweeping Loyola in doubles to earn the first team point of the match.
 
In the No.1 spot, Josh Robinson took on Matt Cardano and won the first set 6-4 but lost the second 6-4 as well as the third set tie breaker 10-4 to just fall short. Tighe Brunetti and Cooper Gordon took the 6-1, 6-1 victory over their opponents with Brunetti at No. 2 singles and Gordon at No. 3 singles. Eitan Khromchenko battled Dylan Koziol in the No.4 spot losing the first set 7-5 but taking the second 6-4 forcing a third set tie breaker which he won 10-8. In the No.5 slot Ryan Nguyen faced off with Trevor Girandola and was victorious with the 6-1, 7-5 result. Trey Fourticq defeated Jorge Quintana in No.6 singles 7-5, 6-3. The Wildcats defeated the Greyhounds 6-1 on the day for their fourth win on the season.
 
The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday March 22 when the head to Lancaster, Pa. to take on Franklin & Marshall. Match time is set for 4 pm.
