QUEENS, N.Y.- The Wildcats made their way to the Big Apple to face off with the Red Storm of St. John's and was defeated 7-0 to snap their two-match win streak.

The match began with St. John's taking the first two wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles to earn the first team point of the match.
Josh Robinson and
Cooper Gordon's match was left unfinished with the pair in the lead 5-3 when the doubles portion of the match was called.

St. John's swept all singles matches on the day to claim the 7-0 victory over Villanova. The best effort of the day cam from sophomore
Trey Fourticq who took on Ryota Kaneda and forced the match into a close tie breaker. Fourticq lost the first set 6-0 but came back in the second set to win 6-3 to force the third set tie breaker. He ultimately fell to Kaneda in a 12-10 battle.

The Wildcats return to action on Sunday April 2 when the head to Bethlehem, Pa. to take on Lehigh. Match time is set for 12 pm.
