VILLANOVA, Pa. – After two seasons at the University of Southern California, sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Dickinson is set to join the Villanova Women's Soccer program this year.

Samar Azem said. "She's coming off a great performance year at USC. With an excellent frame and presence in goal and excellent positioning, she adds a very competitive dynamic to our program and goalkeeping unit. We are thrilled to welcome her to our program."
The Seattle, Wash. native was the primary starter in net for a Trojans team that was ranked as high as 11
th in the nation this past season and made the postseason for the 10
th year in a row, logging 14 starts in 15 games. She posted a 0.84 goals-against average that was third in the Pac-12 and a .745 save percentage, going 8-3-3 with five shutouts. Dickinson was named the Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week in early October after logging a pair of shutout wins over Oregon and Oregon State, making five saves. She was also lauded academically this season with a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Before USC, Dickinson played at the club level with Crossfire XF during her high school years after spending time with Reign Academy and Eastside FC. She was a four-year varsity soccer player at Lakeside School, captaining the team in 2021. She was a three-time First Team All-League and two-time First Team All-State selection, tabbed League Player of the Year in 2019 and 2021 and was the 2021 3A Washington State Player of the Year. In 2021, she was named the WAC Outstanding Scholar Athlete.
Dickinson finished her prep career as the school's all-time saves leader (181), posting a career 0.47 goals-against average with 34 total shutouts. She logged a career-high 63 saves in her senior season and set the school's single-game saves record with 11. Dickinson also earned four varsity letters in both basketball and lacrosse. She was a three-year captain on the basketball team and was captain for lacrosse in 2022, earning First Team All-District laurels that season.
The goalie plans to pursue a Business degree at Villanova. On why she chose to attend Villanova: "because of the combination of rigorous academic and competitive athletics, as well as I believe in what the school and athletic department represents and is striving to build."
