WASHINGTON, DC – Villanova was defeated 8-4 in Washington, DC by Georgetown.
Villanova began the game strong with two runs in the first inning, but every time the Wildcats got some momentum the Hoyas responded. In the bottom of the first a grand slam opened the scoring for Georgetown to give them a 4-2 lead. The scoring stalled for three innings until a two-run home run by Villanova tied the game at 4 in the fifth. Like before, a response from Georgetown came in the bottom of the inning with two runs of their own to reclaim the lead. The Wildcats had no answer from that point on and fell 8-4.

- A double by Christian Ficca scored Josh Rolling in the fifth, 5-4 Georgetown.
- Christian Ficca scored on a passed ball in the fifth, 6-4 Georgetown.
- A single in the bottom of the seventh by Marco Castillo scored Christian Ficca, 7-4.
- Christian Ficca doubled down the left field line, 8-4 Georgetown in the bottom of the eighth.
