PHILADELPHIA, PA - Villanova women's tennis team had a tough lose to Drexel, 1-4,  on Thursday afternoon and Howard 2-4 on Friday afternoon.


Against the Dragons, Lauren Monti and Sophia Edwards paired up in doubles to take on No.1, but came out short 6-4. Duo of Maggie Gehrig and Olivia Corcoran lost 6-1 against No.2. Racking in our single win was Valieriia Kornieva by default.

The Wildcats had two victories over the Bison, both in singles matches. Going head to head with No.3 was Olivia Corcoran, who battled 7-6, 6-4. Jenna Stevens fought and beat No.5 in a close match of 7-6 ,10-2, 6-2.

The Wildcats will head to St. John's on Friday the 21st.
