BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Villanova University men's tennis team fell to Lehigh on Wednesday (March 26), 5-2, at the Lewis Tennis Center.
In doubles,
Will Monahan and
Justin Frattarelli as well as
Thomas Wakefield and
Kush Anand each fell in the first and third flights, 6-3, securing the doubles point for Lehigh.
In singles, Villanova's top three flights fell in straight sets. Frattarelli defeated Rafael Gracie in three sets, 6-4, 7-5, 6-4. In the fifth flight,
Kush Anand defeated Ofer Hacohen, 8-6.
Quincy Jones fell to Benedict Horn-Bourque, 8-2, to seal a 5-2 final score in favor of Lehigh.
Up next, the Wildcats will host Xavier on Saturday (March 29) at the Villanova Tennis Complex.
