McQuaide broke the game open in Villanova's favor with two scores in the second quarter. At 10:47 he found Braden Reed for a 14-yard touchdown, and with eight seconds left in the half he called his own number and ran the ball in from four yards out. His third score came in the third quarter, where he tossed the ball to Julian Glantz for a one-yard score.
