VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Villanova Men's Basketball non-conference home game against FDU originally scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 9 has been shifted to Tuesday, Dec. 29, it was announced today.
 
The move addresses a gap in the Wildcats' BIG EAST schedule announced last week. Following its BIG EAST home opener vs. Providence on Dec. 22 at Finneran Pavilion, the Wildcats are idle in league play until a visit to Georgetown on Jan. 3. FDU will now visit Finneran Pavilion four days after the Christmas holiday.
 
Also, game times for Villanova's three October exhibition games are now set. The Wildcats will visit Rutgers on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. before hosting George Mason at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 and Virginia on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at Finneran Pavilion.
 
Game times and television coverage for the 2026-27 Men's Basketball regular season schedule will be announced in the coming days.
