ReBath Snowman Getaway Final Results
CHANDLER, Ariz. - In the final round of play at the ReBath Snowman Getaway in Chandler, Ariz., the Villanova men's golf team took a 10th place team finish with a three-round total of 915, after posting rounds of 302, 307 and a 306. Freshman Steve Skurla (Wheaton, Ill.) was the top Villanova performer, finishing tied for 24th place with a total score of 227.
Host institution Washington State University took home top team honors, followed by Missouri, Idaho, UMKC and the University of Portland rounding out the top five.
Junior Brendan Kelly (Annapolis, Md.) and sophomore Brian Colbert (Cary, Ill.) tied for 26th place after the final round of play, each posting a three-round total of 228. Sophomore Bret McGaughey (Laguna Beach, Calif.) placed tied for 41st place with a 232 while junior Colin List (Boynton Beach, Fla.) was 72nd with a score of 248.
Brett Iliff of UMCK claimed top individual honors with rounds of 70, 71 and 70, good for 211 overall score and 5-under-par for the tournament. Tom Whitney of Air Force and Brad Tensen of Idaho tied for second place, finishing 3-under-par after three rounds.
The Wildcats will be back in action on March 5th, 6th and 7th when they travel to Dade City, Fla. to compete in the USF Invitational.
