PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. - Villanova sits in a tie for seventh at the Big Five Invitational being played at the par-70, 6,600-yard Plymouth Country Club. As a team, Villanova shot a 298 (+18) and is twelve shots back of the leader, Dartmouth. Junior Michael Kania (Haverford, Pa.) is in a tie for ninth place after firing a 72 (+2).

Junior Steve Skurla (74;+4) is in a tie for 25th in second place for the Wildcats.

Rounding out the top five for Villanova is senior Bret McGaughey (75;+5), senior Brian Colbert (77;+7), and junior Derek Jones (79;+9), who is in a tie for 36th, 59th, and 75th, respectively.

Sophomore Vince Boyle shot an 84 (+14) competing as an individual.

The final round will be played tomorrow.
