NEW YORK - Allie Olsonoski was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this year thanks to a standout weekend to close out the regular season.
 
Olsonoski posted 20 blocks for an average of 2.22 blocks/set to lead the defense and help set new season highs for team blocks in back-to-back matches. Villanova posted 14 blocks at Seton Hall on Friday and topped its previous performance with 18 against St. John's on Sunday. Olsonoski's 14 blocks against St. John's are the most by any BIG EAST player in a match this season. The senior posted 19 kills at a .353 clip on the weekend.
 
Villanova will be back in action on Friday for the semi-finals of the BIG EAST Conference Championship. The third-seeded Wildcats will face the two-seed Marquette Golden Eagles in the first semi-final on Friday at 3:30ET/2:30CT.
