Villanova, Pa. – Sanaä Barnes was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after he play at the Trojan Invitational at USC last weekend. This is her first Weekly Honor Roll nod this season.
 
Barnes led the Villanova attack at the Trojan Invitational. The sophomore right side averaged 3.44 kills per set on .352 hitting to pace the Wildcats. Notably, Barnes recorded a career-high 19 kills in a 3-1 victory over 2018 NCAA Tournament team, Yale.
 
Villanova's next action will be the home opener against Temple Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Jake Nevin Fieldhouse. The Wildcats will play at home again on Saturday against Delaware at 7 p.m.
