New York – Senior libero Regan Lough was named to the Big East Weekly Honor roll following the team's 2-1 performance in the opening weekend at the Cowtown Classic.

Lough piled up 63 digs in the Cowtown Classic at TCU, including 27 in a five-set victory over High Point. The senior libero followed up with another 21 digs in a five-set loss to TCU. Lough averaged 5.25 digs per set. Both her total digs and digs per set mark are tops in the conference after the first weekend.
 
Villanova will travel to Smithfield, Rhode Island this weekend to participate in the Hampton Inn-vitational at Bryant University. The Wildcats will take on North Dakota on Friday Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. followed by Marist at 8 p.m. They conclude their trip with a match against the hosting Bryant Bulldogs on Saturday Sept. 7 at noon.
