VILLANOVA, Pa. – After day one at the Wildcat Fall Invitational, the host Villanova Wildcats sit in third place out of the six-team field.
Ryan Pamer led the 'Cats after shooting even on the day, carding a two-under in round two to finish 6th.
Luke Alexander, who competed as an individual, wrapped up at three-over to place T9.
Team captain Peter Weaver earned 12th with a four-over, totaling rounds of 71 and 73.
Individual participant Matt Minerva had a strong debut on the season, ending at T17 after a one-under in the second round.
Jason Lohwater finished up the first day third on the team with a seven-over, placing T20. Joshua Lavely shot a three-over in the second round to end T25.
Vimal Alokam completed the day with a 15-over, shooting a 73 in the first round. Kyle Kinnane rounded out Villanova's team lineup, slotting in at T35 with a 16-over.
VU will wrap up its home event with 18 holes on Tuesday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Radnor Valley CC.
