Box Score Bryn Mawr— Villanova hosted Drexel in Bryn Mawr Friday night and fell 6-1.
Doubles
Villanova took the doubles point by taking two of three matches.
In the one spot, senior
Josh Robinson teamed up with freshman
Thomas Wakefield to start the match off with a 6-3 win over Alan Jesudason and Alex De Sousa.
Junior
Lukas Choi and freshman
Will Monahan competed in the two spot for the Wildcats. The duo won 6-4 in a hard-fought battle over Will Burridge and Hussein El Tawil.
Cooper Gordon and Eitan Khromchenko fell in a back and forth match 6-4 against Alessio Azzalini and Egor Kirakosov.
Singles
In the one spot for the Wildcats, Robinson fell in a tough match to Jesudason 2-6, 6-1, 6-3.
The two spot was a matchup between senior
Ryan Nguyen and El Tawil. Nguyen would fall 6-2, 6-1.
Monahan was in the third position for the Wildcats and took on De Sousa. Monahan took the first set but lost the next two to lose the match.
A battle in the fourth positions was between Wakefield and Azzalini. The first set went into a tiebreak 7-6 (4) with Azzalini winning it. He would also take the last set 6-4.
Khromchenko took on the fifth spot for Villanova against Burridge. Khromchenko would fall 6-2, 6-1.
Rounding out the lineup for the Wildcats was Choi. He fell in the third set (2-6, 7-5, 10-4) in a battle with Josue Guzman
