VILLANOVA, PA. – Villanova will travel to Johnson City, Tenn. to take on East Tennessee State University. This three-game series kicks off with a 5:00 p.m. first pitch on Friday followed by a 2:00 p.m. Saturday and a 1:00 p.m. start on Sunday.

First Matchup: This will be the first time that Villanova and East Tennessee will square off in a series.
Speedy Hansen: AJ Hansen has stolen six bases so far this season. This already ties him for the most of his career in one season. Hansen also ranks second in the BIG EAST in stolen bases.
Schwede Starts: Rian Schwede will start for the Wildcats in game one of these series. In his last start he picked up his first victory of the season pitching six complete innings against Pepperdine. Schwede held the Waves to six hits and two runs while striking out five. In all four of his appearances, the grad transfer has recorded five strikeouts.
Neff Streaking: Jason Neff smacked a three run home run in Villanova's midweek matchup against Penn this past week. Neff has been hot over the past week as he now is on a four-game RBI streak including three of those games recording at least three.
Talking Tennessee
- East Tennessee has gotten off to a 12-4 start on the season. They are also coming off a midweek matchup where they defeated Harvard 14-4.
- Senior Cameron Sisneros has had a hot start to this season. The first baseman was voted as a first team all-conference before the season started and is living up to the billing. Sisneros leads the conference in doubles (8) and in RBI (28). Sisneros is also in the top 3 in five different statistical categories in the conference in relation to hitting this season.
- Freshman Jace Hyde is the started for game one friday and has a 3-2 record. His last start was against James Madison where he pitched five innings allowing five hits and four runs.
