NEW YORK, N.Y.- Senior starting pitcher Devin Rivera was named the BIG EAST Pitcher Of The Week for his performance on Sunday against Creighton.
 
Rivera pitched 6.2 innings, allowing only three hits and one run for the Blue Jays.  The senior also added six strikeouts to his performance.  Rivera's outing helped Villanova win their three-game series against Creighton over the weekend.
 
As a team the Wildcats will travel to Lewisburg, Pa., to take on Bucknell on Tuesday.
