Rivera Honored: Devin Rivera was the starting pitcher in Sunday's win to clinch the series over Creighton. Rivera pitched 6.2 innings. holding the Blue Jays to three hits, no runs and struck out six batters.
 
Last Time Out: Villanova walked off the Creighton, 6-5, on Sunday (Aprill 21) to take the weekend series.  Jason Neff singled to right field to score Connor Hal from second to walk it off in the ninth inning.
 
Familiar Foes: Villanova holds the all-time series record over Bucknell (25-11). In their last meeting however, the Bison picked up the victory 4-3 on March 3, 2023, at Plymouth Meeting.
 
Shaw Scorching: Scott Shaw has been on fire over the past week of games. Shaw has a five-game hitting streak going and has three home runs in the past five outings. The transfer over the last week had eight hits and added eight RBI.
 
Moore on the Mound: Graham Moore will get the start for Villanova against the Bison.  Moore's last appearance came against Creighton where he pitched an inning in relief, allowing one hit and no runs.
