Hampden, Mass. — The Villanova men's golf team continues its fall slate at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse Sept. 28-30.
VU is coming off a fourth place overall finish at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial.
The Event
54 holes will be played over the course of three days with each round teeing off at 8:30 a.m.
UConn, Boston College, Bryant, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Merrimack, Providence, Sacred Heart, Siena, St. John's, Trinity, Rhode Island and Villanova will compete at the tournament.
At last year's UConn Invitational at GreatHorse, the Wildcats finished tied for sixth.
The Course
A relatively new course, GreatHorse opened in 2016 and is coming up on its 10th year since opening.
The course is a 7,602-yard par 72.
Wildcats lineup
Ryan Pamer tees off first for VU after a hot start to the season which has seen the senior finish top five individually in both of the first two tournaments.
Matt Zerfass hit second off the tee after finishing 16th at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial.
Brockton English follows, coming off a solid Ryan T. Lee Memorial where he finished tied for 13th.
Vibhav Alokam hits fourth off the tee. The sophomore had five birdies in his final round at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial.
Nathan Marion is the final team member for the Wildcats, making his season debut.
Luke Leonard will compete in his third collegiate tournament as an individual.
