Villanova Athletics is proud to present the Villanova P.A.W.S program: Providing Athletes With Support. The P.A.W.S. program helps to ensure the best quality experience for Villanova student-athletes, both in the classroom and on the playing fields. Wildcat student-athletes represent the best in athletic and academic achievements, and Villanova is proud to recognize these student leaders.

This week's P.A.W.S. honors go to the Wildcat's Jamison Young, a senior football standout from Sicklerville, N.J., and Overbrook High School. On Saturday, Nov. 30, in the first round of the NCAA Division I-AA Playoffs at Villanova Stadium, Jamison made 11 tackles and added one sack and a key interception in Villanova's 45-38 comeback victory over the Furman Paladins. For the season, he leads the team with 100 tackles, 9.5 sacks and is tied for the team lead in interceptions with two. Just last week, Jamison was rewarded for his play this season by being named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference third team. With Saturday's win, he and the Wildcats advance to the second round of the I-AA Playoffs where they will host the Fordham Rams on Saturday, Dec. 7, at noon.

We congratulate Jamison on his achievements, and proudly support the Villanova P.A.W.S. program. For additional information regarding P.A.W.S., contact Villanova University at (610) 519-4605.
