Dion Vonderlieth was an infielder for Villanova from 1964-66 and was inducted to the Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 1994.  His only known collegiate statistics are from the 1966 season, when he played in 13 games and batted .375 (18-for-48) with 17 runs scored, four doubles, two triples, four home runs and 14 runs batted in.  He drew seven walks, stole three bases and had a .455 on-base percentage with a .792 slugging percentage for the season.
 
Villanova tallied a 32-17 (.653) record while Vonderlieth was on the team, including a 15-5 mark during the 1965 campaign.  Following his collegiate career, Vonderlieth played professionally for Binghamton in the New York-Penn League during the 1966 season.  The team was then an affiliate of the New York Yankees, and Vonderlieth played in 107 games while totaling 46 runs scored on 71 hits.  He had 15 doubles, four triples, eight home runs and 36 RBI while drawing 47 walks during the 1966 season.
