Villanova Univeristy Athletics

A supporter of Villanova in both the classroom and administration, Dr. Helen Lafferty has been a part of the University for over 40 years. She became the University's first College Professor of the Liberal Arts and Sciences in 2008. In her tenure, Dr. Lafferty has been a longtime professor in the Department of Education & Counseling, currently teaching graduate students in the higher education concentration in the graduate program of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.  She has also served as the Academic Counselor in the Counseling Center, College Professor of Education, Vice President for Academic Affairs and the University Vice President for 16 years. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Dr. Lafferty was also the second-ever recipient of the Earl D. Bader Award for Distinguished Faculty Contributions to the Villanova Center for Liberal Education.
